With the draw still to take place we cannot confirm the teams that will be playing in this year’s event. However, history tells us that Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are regulars in this traditional season opener. Also, the defending Cup Champions Bloemfontein Celtics, and Mamelodi Sundowns, are certain to be in the mix. It is guaranteed that we can look forward to an awesome day of football at Mafikeng Stadium.
